Blimey i've only just got back online since leaving work at 5 and see things have progressed a touch... I'm really surprised to hear he's having a medical so quick having thought he'd hear what we have to say then go away to think it through, inevitably awaiting other clubs coming in for him.

I still have a big doubt in my mind that he'll sign, but it would be a massive coup if he did considering surely there's at least 10 - 14 prem clubs who would gladly have him and being on a free i can't personally believe we're the only club that's approached his agent....

But that's my point, i'm so surprised there aren't others showing their interest because he could do a massive job for loads of prem teams... all the better if it's for us!
