He is never worth that money as seriously overated as he simly stood out as a consistent performer in a rubbish side of wasters. He's not even worth £6m, but i thin that's what he'll go for.

As for him playng badly today, to be honest i doubt he's trying that hard as doesn;t want to get injured and wreck any chance of a move, which will be his last contract most likely given his age.

Why would you think that? I think Gradel would cost £3m. You could probably do a deal to get SWP for near that figure. I know who I'd rather have.

Leeds pushed him back today so he spent most of the game sweeping up in defence saw a couple of decent challenges and a couple of nice through balls but todays game did him no favours in the shop window as Gradel and Snodgrass were the ones who stood out a mile would love to have them on board.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't think he would be free now. He's kissed and made up at Newcastle. Would have thought he would be same sort of money as Parker, but that's purely a guess.

Contract expires end of season so could be got on the cheap.Newcastle would probably take 4m now than nothing in the summer.

Watching him today there's no way we should pay a third of that !!! we have a much better player in Buz who has way more flair Parker is vastly overrated and we need faster pace than his in this league but I would happily pay to get Max Gradel on board that kid would cause premier defences some serious problems !!! worth 3-4 Million I'm guessing..... I guess you would be happier paying that kind of money for a player with maybe 4 half decent seasons left in his legs that will hopefully quell the storm in midfield that will come our way this season rather than a hungry 23 year old that will cause a storm in any premier teams midfield for probably half the price ??? It's a no brainer for me ...although I rate Parker I just don't rate his price tag.

They're different players though. Gradel is a winger. Talk of Buz, is out of hope rather than expectation.....and not because he hasn't got the talent but are we going to get 30 games out of him?

Gradel would be a much better buy (value for money wise) than both SP and SWP.

so if you were chairman you would say to NW , i dont want SP or SWP as MG is better, he would resign on the spot.

I like Gradel, he might be OK in the prem but the other 2 are seasoned Pros who can perform at prem level game in game out. For me there is no contest but i respect your opinion
