But seriously, there is a massive gap between a premiership and championship midfielder

That's too broad a statement just like people keep trying to compare our players to those at united/chelsea etc. The top 5/6 teams are really just an irrelevance to us. I don't think the gap is that big between a lower PL side and a top 6 championship side, I think its a myth the step up is that big.

Yeah maybe, but the truth is we had sold MOST of our best players by then and quite frankly we were pooooop thats why we got relegated. The one thing we'll get with Dezza and NW in control is commitment and desire. And we wont be as Gung Ho as Blackpool last year cos NW has always built teams on a good defence. So as long as Dezza can cut it and help protect the back 4 we have a chance. Yeah maybe we'll get 1 or 2 tonkings this year but i suspect not many but then again who could have predicted Scunthorpe last year lol

commitment and desire are great...ABILITY and SKILL are something completely diffrent...

get rid of derry and get a decent CM in (parker on loan) and we'll stay up..SIMPLE !!

Completely agree w12 , everyone keeps quoting the players from top 4/5 teams , they keep forgetting they are to good for the rest of the league aswel

Our survival not based on results vs top 6 it's tithe rest that will count and I'm pretty confident vs the bottom half of league
