When you consider we won the league and Swansea came 3rd, then consider the signings we have made compared to theirs, I would say footballing wise it is a step back for Wayne.

Plus the fact he has to live in Wales...

As already mentioned by somebody else where does he fit in? Sinclair and Dyer were fabulous for them last season does he get the nod ahead of one of them? I understand it's a squad game and they'll get injuries, suspensions and losses of form just like every other team but someone is going to be unhappy when they miss out first game of the season.

I'm disappointed. He seemed to get on with our squad, Hogan and Ali in particular. He was quality for us last season, shame the board didn't back NW enough for him. I hope he enjoys the extra £££s and the "Bling" in South Wales though...

If he was that good Newcastle would be holding onto him especially after moving Barton to the RHS forced him out

If NW wanted him then I am disapointed. We need to back the man and trust the man.

shame as i think will we miss him this season..behind Kyle Walker and Adel he was our best and most talented/skillful outfield player last season imo

Sinclair, Dyer, Routs - Swans certainly not lacking pace. We could do with a bit of it.
