DJ Cambell signs allegedly

"should" - given our owners wealth and "could" given their current thinking are clearly 2 very different things. Campbell is probably about the best we can we hope for but not sure that's sufficient to wet yourself about.Who do you think we should be signing then?Comment

Name a player then.
The transfer fee isn't the problem, it's the wages. I don't think we should be offering more than 25k a week which is alledgedly our policy. We can't go offering people 50k a week or more, it's not sustainable. What do we do if the people who fund these wages then decide to leave? Look at Man City, what if their owner gets bored this year and decides to leave? Who's going to pay the wages for those players?Comment

Still not excited about Campbell regardless of Man city's owners getting bored or not.Comment

Confused. Thought we had a bid accepted weeks ago and that DJ has been in Italy for two or three days so must already have discussed personal terms. And if he is there so long, presumably he is training with the team, otherwise how is he going to be fit for the season? Or is he now back in sunny Blackpool?Comment
