People were absolutely suicidal a few weeks ago when some itk (yeah right) told us the deal was dead and he was going to wet spam or similar. Seriously the doomsday book was a lighter read than this place. So many people coated of Tango, Cash or both, GP, the Cub Shop cleaner and everyone else they could blame for not caring, being too tight and a whole lot else - all because we didn't stump up the million odd for DJC.
No one accepted at the time that it was a work in progress and once the agent was kicked into shape, things might well resurface because he was a top Warnock target.

People told the likes of me that we were happy clappers and similar insulting phrases because we believe in the Club, support the Club and stay positive.

With DJC on the horizon, I just wondered if some of the miserable sods on here might just wind their neck's in a tad?

While he's only "on the horizon" I doubt it.

I think warnock will play dj right wing for some reason, can't see warnock changing the formation 4-5-1 and will start with bothroyd up front on his own

Neil Warnock is set for talks with DJ Campbell at QPR’s Italian training base in the next 48 hours.

Blackpool striker Campbell is expected to fly out today to meet Warnock and finally complete his protracted £1.25million move.

It's a great signing, in Warnock we trust, but by spending our first 1.25m from blackpool on a player that loves club, rightly isn't going to change people's views of the board and their lack of love and desire to compete in the premiership, at 29 the lad has got to be wanting premiership football simple!

Campbell would be good signing and him and Bothroyd should work well together but if we do perform a miracle and compete for 17th position then it will be in spite of the clowns on the board and down to Warnock who clearly hasnt been backed even if the Billionaires do shell out a paltry £1.25 million...Back Warnock, Back the players but despise them ***** up top who show no backing to either.
