Atletico Madrid want Taarabt for £11million

ADEL TAARABT is an £11million target for Spaniards Atletico Madrid.
The QPR ace's agent has opened talks with Madrid and also met with Paris St Germain, who have offered £9m for the 22-year-old.

I think Taarabt will want this move. Atletico are a big Spanish club, which means he's going to be playing in one of the best leagues in the world with the best players. To be able to play against players like Ronaldo and Messi will surely tempt him. He's probably got a good chance of getting some games for Atletico, as it seems there having a bit of a clear out. Im sure this will appeal to him a lot more than PSG. I just hope we get more than £11 million for him

Yes because last season he expressed his interest in joining the La Liga before we got him.

Althletico don't want him, Taarabt's agent is just trying to offer him to them.

I wouldn't mind him leaving as long as it's not to another Premier League club
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

What about the idea of NOT selling Taarabt because:

                    1) We dont have to.

                    2) He's under contract.

Now there's a novel concept! :pleasantsuprise:

The small print: (Not to mention the fact that he's by far our best player and main supplier of goals and assists)

To be honest, I reckon Warnock is sick of all this **** from his agent and to avoid disruption in preparation for the biggest season of the last 15 years, he will cut his losses and sell him. If we can get 8-10 million return on a 1 million pound investment it makes sense. I personally think he is too much of a luxury for next season, he got marked out of two games by Robbie Savage, much better holding players in the Prem than him. I think he will get found out and if he does his value will drop. Now don't get me wrong some of the things he did last season were unbelievable and he is the biggest talent I have seen in my lifetime at loftus road but this constant speculation and pimping himself out does us no favours whatsoever. Like Tony Incenzo said last week for every fantastic performance there were two or three terrible ones. For me Buzz will offer us more industry in that role next season if given the opportunity.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Luke, I know that of course. It was just an attempt to (remind and) re-introduce the concept that players still do have contracts.

Also I dont think its quite accurate to say that "contracts mean nothing". Theoretically speaking, if a club could afford it and had the will to carry it through, could just not sell any contracted player and, if necessary, let him rot in the reserves.

A little idealistic and unrealistic I know, but a point worth remembering nonetheless.

I agreed with you till the small print. Ali Faurlin is our best player for me
