That's what someone said in Facebook. It's simple. Make him 40k and he will stay. He was one of the main factors firing us towards promotion.

40k for Taarabt? I'm glad you're not running our club into the ground.
    Your mum would love me...

It really is so easy to spend other people's money.

How about we negotiate and make it £45k pw.

There are some overrated PL players who are worse than Taarabt. I can alse read between the lines that he is frustrated from the lack of support from the owners to strengthen the squad, I mean he is right when he spoke about relegation. Hope that NW is not next to express his desire to leave. I am not defending him, but a lot of what he said is right about the club.

it's not worth paying him that much for him to then spark all these 'I need to move to a bigger club' interviews again in december/january time

Anyone thought that he may be focusing the board hand in buying players. After reading the mail she stated that with current squad we go down and we not getting on new in. Who on here say he wrong on that.

Find it hard to disagree with what he says about the team. If we don't improve the squad fairly dramatically then we would be one of the favourites for relegation.

Both Taarabt and Warnock have now commented on the issue of players coming in (or not).
Seems they have a little conspiracy going, in order to publicly force the board's arm, on shifting themselves to pull their fingers out and release the funds.
Before they spend it all on tyres and castrol.

Fabregas and Nasri both demanded arsenal to back up ambition with money to sound and buy players, he's done the same. Although saying that, it's all worded wrong. Personally, I dont think Adel is that stupid to say those things, that's the job of the journo or devised or heard the quotes.

If he had simply stated we need to buy players to stay up then I will sign a 4 year contract, then yes I would accept what he said
