    is the connelly that everyone seems so keen to destroy the same connelly that played over 3/4 of the season in the tightest defence in the country...or someone else?

      Its probably sensible if you are going to go for Bullard to do it as a loan, I remain to be convinced he can cut it in the prem again. Bullards strength was aways his energy and his ability to get box to box, last season when he played, it was more of a quarter back role and he was not getting up and down as before, worth a punt mind you, so loan with a view to perm would be sensible

        Yes that's the one, the one who got continaully bailed out by Paddy Kenny and Derry after making mistakes and causing pressure on our defence by not learning to attack a ball properly.

            Still comes down to picking right players whether they're on loan or perm. Stoke used a few loans to go up from memory. We've had jerome thomas, routledge, adel, sinclair. All have been decent loans.

              as jeffers quite rightly stated tippy toes bailed out more times than pete doherty last season........a pauper amongst princes!
