Blackburn's are so affordable because they are not Londoners.
Here in London, we have been all too easily mugged off for too many years.
As yet, I have to hear one good reason, well, one that at least doesn't make Britons look like the most economically incompetent idiots on the whole planet, as to why Londoners should pay more for nearly everything, from a pint of beer, to watching the same level of football, as somebody almost anywhere else in Britain.
It's one of those hard facts of life us Londoners hate facing up to, but we're too easily mugged off, ripped-off, call it what you will, but it boils down to the same thing, Londoners are never dealt straight.

Teams like Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan can't get fans through the turnstiles and to some extent Fulham. Last game of the season you could take 1 adult and 2 kids to watch Bolton for £20, these clubs have to keep their prices low to half fill their grounds. There are very few teams who can price their ST's like our's and get away with it. Our fan's will dig deep we've proved that already in the Championship.Originally posted by granty3333 View PostNot sure .. went to ewood park for the cup match was pretty empty but was a cup match and i think tix were a fiver ... lots of competition up there for prem footy but not as much as down here ... in short , no idea ..
It is absolutely pointless comparing our ST prices to no mark northern teams or clubs like Fulham who historically have **** crowds. We are QPR, we are unique we have a loyal fan base, we are London team.

Supply and demand fella, more people desire to live in London than Blackburn, hence the cost is greater. You must remember there are far more jobs in London than Blackburn so more people can afford to pay higher prices. What are the job opportunities in Blackburn! It really is that simply....Originally posted by BUSHRANGER1982 View PostBlackburn's are so affordable because they are not Londoners.

would be interesting to see what happened to ST and match day ticket prices should we go down after a price hike like that.

I was thinking the same and I bet they would remain the same but with a early bird of 10% but remember, you would be getting four more games.Originally posted by silvercue View Postwould be interesting to see what happened to ST and match day ticket prices should we go down after a price hike like that.
I can really see them doing that and jazzing it up by saying it would an additional saving of £150ish.
