I fail to see any logic in that.
And as for the "far more jobs in London", and the, "more people can afford to pay higher prices" mallarkey oft used by the rip-off merchants out to shaft Londoners, both get fewer with each passing year.
It's what happens to a nation with no manufacturing base to speak of, and is beholden to service/finance companies to provide employment for any who want it.
Anyway, enough of politics and Britain's parlous economic state brought about through breathtaking naievity and incompetence, the surest wayto get as many bums on as many seats as you'd like, is affordability, make it unaffordable and see the cracks start to appear.
Saw empty seats at Chelshyte games last season, supply and demand there somewhat diminishing methinks.
