Where does Paddy Kenny rank for you amongst Premiership goalies?

I'm not having this, the more I think about it the more I realise just how many games I see Stejskal play. The man couldn't catch a cold, teflon gloves he was. A serious weak link in that Premier League side of the 90's were the goalkeepers who were both liabilities without a doubt. He left the club at 32 years on a free transfer, hardly a world beater IMO but each to there own, all I could remember was how nervous both he and Roberts made me feel when they played.

Fact: Jan Stejskal was a quality world class goalkeeper, imo one of the top 3 keepers who started the premier league from the start. Everyone is entitled to opinions, but come on mate, Paddy Kenny has had one season like quoted playing behind a championship winning side, he is hardly world class, and imo should have been dropped for Radek as I feel he is too small (I have met both Stejskal and Kenny and their is probably at least 5 inches differences between them) Kenny is also carrying weight which I believe would affect his game. Kenny is a top class Championship keeper, but never Premiership quality as being discussed ie Reina VDS etc. Imo the level of goalkeepers has dropped dramatically since the early 90's, and when the season started at Maine Road in August 1992 (I was there) Jan for me was only behind IMO Schmeichel and Chris Woods.

Lets stop the nonsense talk about Kenny, decent keeper but I wish we would have signed Foster in January, Kenny is a Prem Back up at best.

And just one more thing, Jan was voted Man of the Match in the 1990 world cup quater final v germany, cant be that bad, when old Padster polishes Shay Given and Ermm not sure whos the no 2 ireland keeper?

Jan Stejskal was an excellent keeper in a very good side, remember he was homesick and wanted to return to the Czech Republic. There are plenty of ex Rangers goalies who were rank and deserve some verbals, but Stejskal not one of them
