    Shane Long/Jobi McAnuff

Thoughts on these 2 for next season?

Providing Reading don't go up obviously..

not sure how good long really is - he looked average against us if i remember rightly.

mcanuff is a decent player, but with mackie and routledge we would probably be ok.

What about that little fella who keeps the chelski Bench warm! has moved around a fair bit... His uncle scored a few in his day?

Or that rumour bout Joe Cole?

Problem is, people read rumours about Joe Cole and Robbie Keane, and tend to lose touch of reality.

Depends on our budget. If limited, I'd take a punt on both.

Good point! I suppose we need to keep our feet on the ground and be realistic with targets.

Like others, not sure about Long in a Warnock system, but I wouldn't mind seeing Kebe have a season in the Prem! always rated him, but not sure if his level is beyond Championship.

Totally agree, tbh I trust Warnock to make the right calls. If this season has taught me one thing that is the right manager can get the most out of even average players.

Warnock will sign team players not superstars

would rather danny graham, and jarvis at wolves. both realisitic imho. but before that we need a new back 4.

I like McAnuff, but he's very similar to Routs, so I'd rather stick.

Long would be an improvement, but for the dough he'd cost, ee could do better. Danny Graham for one.

Can't see either Long, or McAnuff, being deemed good enough for our maiden season back in the premiership.
I have a feeling QPR will allow NW to set his sights a little higher, or at least I hope they will.

Vaughan at Blackpool(dip in form though?)
                          DJ. Campbell,same.
                          Sinclair from Swansea.

In addition to 3-4 new defenders.

Heard from a mate with links to reading, that Long can leave for a set fee to any premiership team. Think a pacey forward could be vital next season.

Dunno how Warnock rate this kind of players though! Long is far from a giant.
                              I agree Long is quality.
