QPR boss visits Morocco to lend support to Adel Taarabt

"I went to Morocco for four days and had a few hours with him on Monday night," said the QPR boss. "He's OK now and looking forward to the run-in.

"I think he appreciated me going out to see him. I think it was important to show a bit of support for him. He's only a young lad of 21.

"We don't often get a chance to chat like that and he was relaxed on his own territory. I had four or five hours with him."

The Guy is a genius when it comes to man management skills..he is doing a total number on Adel..he realised very early on the correct way to handle him...and its working..don't be surprised if Adel is still wearing the hoops in the prem next season!

I hope Tarbs repays the faith and good-will bestowed on him by Warnock. Warnock has 2/3years left and if I were him I would do almost anything to keep him on-side.

There are very few players like Taarabt around and when he eventually goes it will be near impossible to replace him, especially for a club like ours.

Warnock really is an execllent manager and ultimately more important than any player, including Taarabt.

But Taraabt is damned(pardon) valuable to us. AND Warnock is top notch. Hopefully Adel appreciates what a great boss he has in Warno(Which I am sure he does)

Taarabt didn't throw a strop over his cousin's death -- he was shocked and upset, which is understandable, given the violent nature of the death. and, as I've put on here before, he grew up in the same house as his cousin, so he was like a bother and they were very close.
It's a sad day when people see fit to belittle the death of a very close relative of one of the players. My mum grew up with her cousin, and in many ways is closer to him than to her own brothers.
Taarabt has had very few strops this season -- a real credit to Warnock's man management as to how much Taarabt has matured as a player and a person.

Not a lesson, a comment on the way your post came across -- and I wasn't the only one who thought you made the death of what was his very close relative sound somehow unimportant.
And your comment which I've put in bold makes no sense at all.
