If Watson's going to recapture his form anywhere it'd be here back with Warnock. Can't say I'd give him a starting place automatically but with him and Vaagan Moen we'll have midfield cover in abundance, especially for Faurlin which we haven't had before. At the very least it'll keep the starting XI right on their toes that's for sure.

Would be happy with Roberts too, still has a bit of pace and has the experience and nous to get us goals the younger likes of Le Fondre, Austin and Beckford wouldn't IMO. Nor would he rock the boat as much, I should think.

Most will say this is far too ambitious/ totally unrealistic but I would love to see us try with some of the following -

Victor Moses- Fingers crossed will be swapping leagues with them and a bit of first team football will do him the world of good.

Steve Sidwell - Where has he gone?

Stephen Ireland - Not happy at Villa. He is desperate for first team football. Maybe a loan until end of season then see how he feels!?

These type of players will genuinely help us build in the PL. Jason Roberts would do ok in the Championship (probably) but he ain't doing too much to keep a struggling Blackburn in the PL.

Liverpool and someone else interested in Ireland far too good to drop to Championship.

Watson wouldn't be a bad signing.
Jason Roberts would be very good in this league I think.
Moses would also be good, don't think he's had too much time at Wigan, and to be honest I think Martinez is a shite manager and almost certainly taking them down.

Im sure there will be lots of names mentioned,there always is this time of year,we were linked with Owen in the summer and may be again now,but at least NW knows we need a quality stiker to get us promoted and im happy about that.

Really, Man U have already loaned out pretty much anyone and everyone they have down the pecking order. Even Darren is fishing an empty pool. Pretty much only the first team regulars left.
