the goal was scored with a 15 next to it not a 16, thats how this thing works.
Otherwise by your calculations the game should end at 89 minutes.

Pete has not been clear on the competition rules.

No no no, if a goal is scored at say 22 mins 37 secs then it is classed as 23 mins goal scored. What if someone scored on 40 secs the time of goal would be 1 min

Kick off until 0:59 secs is classed as the 1st minute, and so on up to 88 Mins 59 secs
which is classed as the 90th minute.
So therefore 15:15 is classed as the 16th Minute.
This is also why commentators state it was scored (In the) ** minute.

Just to confuse things though, Commentators do actually get it wrong if for example they were to say after 16 minutes it is 1-0 (reason being: it is only 15 full minutes that have been completed, therefore not actually being after 16)
