Pete doesn't pay his bets. He still owe's me 15 pounds from a blackstock bet we had. Won't even mention it and still not been paid what I am owed. We had a 5 pound bet for every goal below the 15. He got 12 so owes me 15. I would of definately paid if he managed 16+, shame really as I never saw Pete like that. Not as honest as he makes out mate.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I might be wrong but the thread was titled "Win A Crispy Tenner..Time of First QPR Goal" which suggests it was the time when QPR scored, not Bristol City, also you said 15 minutes and on qpr.co.uk, is says stead 16th minute.

Sky sports said 15m 15 seconds.
If it was only QPR goal then how comes Pete said no "0-0's", as this would imply that it is a game bet involving both teams rather than a QPR bet.
But if he or you are going to be that Anal, then whatever.

Beefy sorry I have to answer your post.

I have tried the PM approach with no joy.

When I bought the ticket off you at face value I knew u were an honest fan that wanted to give a fellow fan an opportunity to watch us play our old enermy.

Its not being harsh Beef and I am just stating a fact.

So if it was just time of the QPR goal...Why Did Pete put "no nil-nils", which means it was the games 1st goal rather than our's.

And beefy I know he is your mate but you have no reason to stick up for him.

I don't even want the 15 pounds anymore but the principle of the whole thing is well out of order. Pete used to be a top bloke in my eyes but he plays the honest card because he wants more radio work and doesn't want a tarnished reputation but he isn't as honest as he makes out.

two things are very clear here - it says time of first QPR goal. it doesn't say time of first goal in the match, and it does not insinuate the same by suggesting no nil-nil's in the text either. it's not like he hasn't run this competition before, we all know the score with the competition.

secondly, 15:15 is the 16th minute, not the 15th, so Pete would win anyway.
RUN, MWEPU, RUN! CHARGE FORTH AND BOOT THAT BALL DOWNFIELD MY BOY, YOU MAGNIFICENT CHAMPION YOU!

the goal was scored with a 15 next to it not a 16, thats how this thing works.
Otherwise by your calculations the game should end at 89 minutes.

Pete has not been clear on the competition rules.
