In the event of Portsmouth going out of business all their records for this season would be expunged. That is null and void, so all results against them would be wiped clear. So Cardiff would lose their three points.

Expunged! Great word... can't think of any other time you'd use the word unless talking about the record of an ex-footy team.
Personally, I'm outraged that a team that benefitted from Sky's £millions for several seasons can go boracic and I certainly don't get all dewey eyed about them.

why were they not deducted points at the start of the season?as i remember it being said that if they were in admin at the start of the season they would be deducted 10pts

Cooper I agree it does seem strange. Also I rate them and I see them as a threat to us. Only 11 points behind and still early days. They are the form team in the division.
