In the event of Portsmouth going out of business all their records for this season would be expunged. That is null and void, so all results against them would be wiped clear. So Cardiff would lose their three points.Comment

If clubs go out of business during a season, all goals and points which resulted from games involving that club are wiped from the slate. Happened a few years ago, can't remember who the club was -- someone here will know, I'm sure.
