Not 'could of' but 'would have'.....Agreed that we need to be grateful for what we've got. The glass is half full.....but we were sipping on dregs a couple of years ago!!

Something is very odd about the whole Southampton saga - they had an excellent youth set up and received millions in transfer fees, premiership money, weren't big spenders in the transfer market - where exactly has all the money gone?

yes but they have no history, are ****, grounds in a red light area
        successive boards drained clubs resources
        best players sold off
relied on kids and went down...

hopefully they close forever....and take their thieving players with them...

we had bill power ready to step in....he stepped aside for flav and co.

They got relegated when the new stadium was ready and aren't filling it. That is the main issue, all the debt on the ground.

Portsmouth could be going the same way too.owe 60 odd million, south african bank demanding the 37 mill owed to them!

small club 20,000 capacity out dated ground, sound familier?

maybe flav and the gang deserve a little more credit for the way they hope to run the club than the glory hunters give them!

Its a bit sad that a grown man can harbour so much hatred for one club.T here are many decent southampton fans who I know who's club that they love are facing extinction, so for whom I feel extremely sorry for.

and by the way I dont know where you get your info from but the ground is not in a red light district.

But anyways it aint us so stuff em eh? What a great attitude!
