No need can't fill this stadium.

Niether were Stoke filling thiers (about 14-15k a week) but since they have been in the Prem they sell it out every week (27500). Same can be said of other teams, ie Fullham. I think if we got to the Prem then the fans would come out of the woodwork, not saying 30K but I think we would easily attract 20-25K. One thing is for sure, there is just no way we could survice and succede even on capcity gates at Loftus Road.

Wigan and Wolves are prime examples too. The stadium does need to be expanded especially if we want to stay in the premiership. We will have a clamour of tickets if we were to get promoted, we are at this stage in September where not everyone is a believer and come April if we are looking certs for promotion, guarantee it will be hard to get a ticket.

Portsmouth had the lowest crowds in the premiership up until recently and that was around 20,000 and to maintain our position in the premiership we would need 25,000 capacity at least, which may even mean we move from our ground. Its just inconcevible we could make ends meet with 18,000 capacity unless ticket prices were increased dramatically

I think a 30k stadium at least pete, 25k would not make a great enough differance to ticket income.

Wasn't there something in the press in the last two seasons about extending the capacity to 28,000? Were those plans ever seriously looked into? A capacity of 28k would be suitable for us in the premiership for the foreseeable.

To an extent, ticketing revenue is an irrelevance in the Premier League for clubs outside the top 5 or 6. A nice to have but not essential. Wigan survive on average crowds of 14,000 at an average price of £22 a pop.

Fulham have done a miracle by managing to squeeze 26,000 on to that site - still not convinced that it gets a safety licence without a little bit of greasing - but their ticketing revenues are quite innovative. Charge naff all for the games they struggle to sell (Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton etc etc) then jack up the prices hugely for the big 6 clubs.

If thousands of football fans have nothing to do on a Saturday then I suggest they shift the lazy arses and jump on the Picc line to West London and come and watch the Rangers.

Build the new ground on Linford Christie Stadium site, its the best location in the area.

Id be gutted as well, as W12 has been a big part of my life and I have some magical memories, but if they moved I would still go and so would you.

I don't think the area needs QPR anymore.

All the businesses are fully self sufficient and cope admirably without the knock on income that the football club brings in. Sure a few businesses would suffer (Springbok, the shops on SAR) but not the area in general. In fact, there's an argument there that the White City area could be regenerated if QPR wasn't there. Especially since Westfield and before that the gentrification of W12 as the fashionista's overflowed from W11.

We need Shepherds Bush far far more than Shepherds Bush needs us.

Uxbridge road would be hit hard.

Due to the recession pubs have been hit hard.

If rangers was to move I could see alot of those pubs being closed down and lets not forget in some weeks thats 2 games a week. They would make more in those 2 days than they would in the remaining 5 days. Shephards bush as you know has plenty of pubs and thats plenty of staff that will be out of work. So shephards bush definately needs QPR and its great news for the area that over 15k are going to be filling LR whilst the club is doing well.

Its all relative really.As you say times are hard hence people also cut back on spends.Where as they may of had food beers etc things may be cut.So if pubs etc could still fold.
