Get real, he sanctioned decisons based on that imbeciles Paladinis advice. Off course it makes him cupable for putting to much trust in Paladini but make no mistake it was Paladini who brought these names to the club barring a few foreign kids.
Briatore brought players to this club using his "connections" with the likes of the Real Madrid president, among others. Take your blinkers off, no one person is to blame for the crop of players brought into this club.

As I said his connections brought in a few foreign kids on season long loans with the exception of Parejo I doubt the rest were paid that well. Paladini on the other hand brought in players on long term expensive deals from within English football he probably had a big hand in some of those deals you think Briatore was solely responsible as well. No blinkers on here it was the man's job to identify transfer targets and negotiate contracts that seems pretty obvious to me otherwise what else was he doing as Sporting Director?

Oh, and while I'm at it, who was responsible for getting rid of Lee Camp, and who Sold Blackstock and didn't replace him with anyone better. Finally, who was it that sold Routledge when there was no need to. ? I am not a Paladini disciple, but I believe Briatore was far to "hands on" to escape the ultimate responsibility for the failings of this club. This is all I have to say on this subject.

As regards length of contracts, GP said on a radio interview I heard, that Briatore wanted the likes of Agyemang on long contracts. Now I can't imagine that GP would say anything like that, and risk the wrath of Briatore if it wasn't true.......

Depends if he thought he get away with saying it I wouldn't read too much into anything Paladini says TBH.

If you told 52 lies in court you would be in contempt of court, therefore be prosecuted.

                Get you facts right.

As for the above, many of you have not got a clue and I will just leave it there, as this argument is worthless

                  Surprised?

                  Not at all.

The agenda of the moderators on this board is cringe-tastic.
I'll give credit where credit is due - for instance Faurlin is an absolute diamond of a signing; however balance it all out and the scales tip HEAVILY on the side of one man being a complete bell end who has fritterd MILLIONS of OUR clubs money away.

As you say -- we'll leave it there as arguing against the GP rose tinted mob is pointless.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

when you try and treat posters with contempt it would help you to talk of "facts"
It would also help if you researched for some. sorry pete i appologise for the fact it was only 50 lies not 52 as i put above.

Paladini does not appear to have have been put off by the English legal system despite his experience as a key witness in the unproven QPR blackmail case. There, defending QC James Sturman claimed that he had listed 50 lies/untruths given by Paladini on 75 different topics.

                    Evening Standard - September 28, 2006

Now, that is a fact that was said in court now lets also not forget that paladini was the main witness for the CPS.

You must have been bypassed that information at the time.

can provide link if needed? or shall we just leave it at that mate!

Just to enlighten those of us that don't believe all that is written, one way or the other,

How is it possible to only tell 50 lies, if there are 75 different topics ?

Not the greatest example to use if one is trying to alter peoples opinions.

I'm fed up with this, as over the years it gets us nowhere.

for the record, I didn't move it, but this is the board room section.

hanwell ranger thanks for that statement

I suggest you know your law before pasting soemthing up which was years ago. By the way in those years, I've had a lovely grandaughter, moved jobs, built this site, seen upteen managers at QPR etc etc,

                        in other words

moved on and wish you would too.

words of the evening standard, and tracy stents transcripts from the case not mine.

can you be in contempt of court as a cps witness? i dont know.

you could also ask why the cps qc did not dispute/challenge surmans words.

pete you said get my facts right and to my knowledge i have .
