Cant believe some of you on here.

Warnock has made two signings, ok not of great quality, but it gives the squad strength in depth and they are better players than some of the crap we currently have aka agyemang, so stop acting like spoilt kids just because we havent signed the big names yet. Have you seen anyone else in the championship sign a big name player?? mmmm. Most the players are on their holidays so everybody chill please and trust warnock.

God could imagine if we had messageboards when we signed Sir Les from Hayes, everyone would be suicidal!

Disagree as I have just mentioned on another thread The Board have had the opportunity to make a marquee signing before the EBD ended and they haven't. A statement of intent is not signing 4 players on the cheap from Palace either.

I dont have a problem with the way we do business in fact I think its good for a club our size to operate like this but please can the promotion talk and stop raising supporters expectations.

The funny thing is that morris is one of most vocal about this, where he went on and on about signing cookie 2 years ago, it finally happened and for one reason or another hasn't delivered (and I love cookie) but if Clarke has 5 top games in 2 seasons it's a better return from a freebie than we got off cookie who cost a million

Completely agree! Warnock is building a squad and clarke is just that a squad player.

And as for Marquee signings..Name one that has happened (apart from Villa to Barcelona!).

Well normally lesser signings are made at the start... the better ones come later on, at least they need to be!
