Exactly how many times have seen Derry, Hill and Clarke actually play live? You seem very opinionated for someone who spends the best part of the season in an armchair.

So,im gulible to believe NW(In NW we trust) when he promised us an exciting summer in the transfer market,is that what you are saying,and tell me ONE person on this board who thinks Leon Clarke or Shaun Derry are good players,or maybe we are all sitting in the same armchair

Er, me for one - Derry might not be the "big" name some people want, but will be a good player us - a leader and a no nonense player, which I believe we have been lacking of late. As for Clarke, have never seen him play, so will reserve judgement until then.

there are a few ( cannot remember the names ) who think he will be a handful, already seems to have shed the weight he was carrying.

i think clarke is going to prove our best free transfer in years and years. hes looking fitter than a butchers dog and looks the type of player who wants to be idolised, and when he starts scoring for us, he will be. oh and hes a crack shot penalty taker as well.

would love to see a penalty taker strike the ball exactly like les used to down the bush. nothing better than feeling really confident that every penalty you get is gonna be converted.

can certainly hit the ball, along with a sweet lob, i think he has the qualities, just needs to be consistent.
