A QUALITY STRIKER(again!)

fair enough,im pretty positive about the new season really,and have faith in NW,but am impatient i suppose,we will get a quality striker,im sure of that

Matthew, i have faith in Neil as well, thats why i wont moan at any players he brings in, they will be fitted into his jigsaw for which none of us know what that jigsaw looks like.

I'm pretty sure that NW will bring in the odd player - that many QPR fans will raise their eyebrows at.I think all QPR fans are of the belief that we have a manager and now a possibilty that with no backgound interference(albeit unless it concerns wages demands etc) we will have a better tea.squad next season.

Unfortunately, we will have to wait untill all parts of the jigsaw and completed and all signings in and out are done, before we can see what direction the team will form.

Fans moan about a big player up front, but they have their purposes but it doesn't mean that a team will automatically play hoof football.

Ok i posted this thread 7 weeks ago,and the our striker problem remains as it has done for the past 2 years,Taarabt and Ambose if purchased would give us goals from midfield,but as of now,we have no goal scorer in midfield OR up front,and please dont reply with FFS its only july,because that arguement has well and truly run its course.

The transfer market appears to be hotting up. Man City signed a couple of players this week, Chelsea signed Benayoun and everyday players are moving to new clubs so if anything does happen I'd imagine it will be soon.

However, Warnock is the type of manager who gives players the chance to prove their worth. He might want to give Agyemang and Helguson an opportunity to show what they can do in training or he might just be waiting to ship a few players out before we make any new signings?

I'm not going to say it's only July or nobody else is signing players but I would just say enjoy the rest of the World Cup and worry about QPR the week after next.

I know this has been posted a million times before,BUT surely the board has learned their lesson and realize we need to push the boat out on this one.Hooper is available for £1 million,a steal at that,but we need to convince him that QPR are the club for him,and pay him the wages he wants.I know we are in talks with him,along with others but he must be our no1 target this summer,and we must have a back up plan just in case.We need 3 strikers brought in,Mackie wont score many,so a goalscorer is so important,and i REALLY hope we land Hooper.

Can't understand why people can't just look forward to the season and stop speculating have we learned nothing from the past 2 summers.

I wish the Board would just drop ST prices so fans shut the **** up about spending money all the time because its not going to happen anyway.

Exactly how many times have seen Derry, Hill and Clarke actually play live? You seem very opinionated for someone who spends the best part of the season in an armchair.
