£1.5m is a lot, but hardly way over priced. I think you lot are underestimating what a player like Danns can bring to the table. He's an energetic midfielder who will win balls, set plays up and also get you goals. If not for him and Speroni, plus the one season wonders goals, palace would have certainly gone down...way before the Wednesday showdown.

From what I've seen he is a bit like Legiertwood with better control and passing ability, maybe a little bit more skill and pace.
