Warnock Keeps Saying " I'm really Excited About Next Season, I really am"

Now he is very good at marketing and hyped the sale of Moses before he actually went to Wigan, even saying teams in Europe were interested

. is it simply whack here is 3 million for a player we know, or assesmbling a team of 8-9 players who are out of contract or freebies?

What do the club have to do to make you truly believe next season, could be our season?

I ask because the last few seasons, we have always believed the very next season we would buy quality for this division.

Probably a bit of both. Players like Tosic look like quality and are free, but equally there is no point hyping expectations about promotion if we don't also spend some serious money on a couple of strikers.

I make the point because even at Leicester he said

" we will really have a team next season to take these lot on", then said we should have won and that we might think he was " mad"!!!

Well, thats with a team we would conceive is weaker than next seasons 11.

i just wonder what will make the QPR fans, think ..right we now mean business.

Is it buying Tarrabt for say 2.5 million or a Beattie for 3 million? Maynard from Bristol City?

of accepting that articles highlighting Algerian midfielders might be more serious options?

I think there will be a massive clear out TBH, then I would probably expect to see 8 new faces IMO, whether NW buys quality or assembles most on free transfers is another matter. IMHO I would expect to see Ambrose, Danns, Speroni next season for sure with a few others.

What I find interesting, is what sort of strikers will Warnock target? He knows now like we've known that we lack quality up front big time, so the main debate during the summer period on this message board will be 'The Strikers'. That will be the key area and will define whether we have the guts to go and buy someone to fire us up.

From the Platinum Evening he said '4/5 signings and some will be Bosmans'.

Don't know if he meant 4/5 + Bosmans or including Bosmans?

If you are talking about creating real excitement for next season and getting loads of people to renew early then, in answer to your q, don't think Manynard and an Algerian will quite cut it. By all means have them as part of the mix but think you need at least one and more likely two quite big signings to excite a fanbase which lets face it has grown jaded and disillusioned. Don't forget we are probably among the more fanatical with the amount of time we spend on here, and even among many of us it has been doom and gloom for a long time. Will take something special to lift that imho.

I read somewhere on another site that the strikers could be Andrews & Beattie...
