I agree. If we bought Tarrabt and Simpson then that would be a major coup.

i would be more excited about us signing up tarrabt than any other realistic target ie: beckford, hooper,ambrose, danns, ii honestly think he is falling in love with us and just could be tempted with a permie signing with the promise of a crack at the prem in the next 2 seasons.

if we signed maynard we would still have to sign a physical presence aswell, if we get maynard i dont think we will sign simpson awell

Maynard is actually a good player, potentially he could hit 15 goals if used properly IMO.

but do you get promoted with one of two main strikers scoring only 15 goals? means the other one has to be quite prolific.

I do not know how calvin andrews made it pro. Played for my youth team Lewsey Centre in Luton back in 2000. he was 14 at the time and played for my team which was U17's Got picked up by Luton but has done F all since.

It's a mix of both there will quality players available for free/cheap this summer that we would do well to pick up but equally we will have to spend money to get others!
