Kolli and again why do players get injured so much!
Is there a call for them playing more and stop pampering them. How much influence do the medical team have over player "resting" -
On the injuries front - it’s not just us though that it is affecting its seems That the ridiculous schedule must be playing a part.
Cramming so many games in early in the season is crazy. Then a ridiculously long international break.
they should make the season longer to allow for less midweek games or reduce the league to allow for less games.Comment

The schedule is the schedule - it's the same for everyone. Well possibly a bit less for us given how we like spewing the cups early doors.
I personally don't see that playing 8 league games in 5 weeks after a Summer break and going into a two week rest is too onerous. We've basically played two midweek games in that spell, one at home and one locally at Charlton so they didn't present too much disruption to our rhythm, training and recuperation.
Any player that's crumbled under that schedule must have underlying fitness problems or ongoing and persistent physical weakness

- Kolli was told he'd be down then pecking order and was offered numerous loans opportunities to pick up minutes but turned them all down. Adamson & Lloyd cited as being given first team opportunities because of their effort in training. Reading between the lines its obvious that Kolli isnt putting the effort in that JS expects and its now up to him. What he expects and what's he'll be offered are two different things

QPR Boss Julien Stephan Issues Stark ‘Non-Negotiable’ Demand to Rayan Kolli as Absence Finally Explained
QPR manager Julien Stephan has finally addressed the mystery surrounding Rayan Kolli’s complete absence from the matchday squad this season.
Despite the Algerian forward being fit and having shown real promise in limited minutes over previous campaigns, the 21-year-old has not featured once in the 2026/27 Championship season so far.
Speaking at a recent fans’ forum alongside CEO Christian Nourry, Stephan made his position crystal clear. While Nourry revealed Kolli turned down several loan moves in the summer because he wanted more first-team football, the French boss stressed that talent alone is not enough.
Stephan said hard work, full involvement and daily commitment are “non-negotiable.” He pointed out that the squad’s strong start currently sitting fifth and just two points off the top has come from players giving everything every day in training.
He even highlighted 17-year-old Leon Scarlett’s recent appearances as proof: if you deserve it through your work, you get the chance. The pitch never lies.
The message is simple. Kolli’s door remains open… but only if he meets those standards.

I'm glad we finally have an answer to the silence surrounding Koli, as it's been deafening.
A loan move might have given him the opportunity to show what he's capable of, instead he seems content to do the bare minimum to establish himself here.
Well done to the the management team for taking a tough stance on this.

Christian Nourry confirms why Rayan Kolli stayed at QPR in the summer
At Wednesday night’s fan forum, Nourry was asked about Kolli’s situation and confirmed that there was indeed a desire from him to find a move, but he snubbed several opportunities after initially indicating interest in a move elsewhere in May. The QPR chief said:
“In our meeting that we had with Rayan in May he expressed a frustration with the amount of playing time he had received in the 2025/26 campaign, and he also made it clear that if it wasn’t possible to have further guarantees of more playing time in 2026/27, then that may mean he needs to consider his options in the summer.
“Off the back of that meeting, we sat with his representatives and we agreed we would look at loan opportunities for him over the course of the summer transfer window. His agents worked on it and so did I and our football transactions guys.
“In the end this summer, Rayan had six or seven different opportunities from some in England – and some not – to explore. In the end he decided that none of those opportunities were ones that he wanted to take.”
Hoops boss Julien Stephan then provided an insight into why Kolli has not been selected despite the shortage of forwards. He stressed the importance of commitment and hard work in every training session and match.
Although not referring to Kolli directly, he stated that delivering on non negotiable factors like work ethic and commitment was why teenager Leon Scarlett has earned his call into the senior setup. The Verdict: A resolution must be found to avoid Rayan Kolli stagnating at QPR

However, snubbing several loan opportunities despite a desire to play regular football doesn’t paint a great picture. Granted, Kolli isn’t obliged to take any option available and is well within his right to hold out for a better suited loan, but to snub that many offers when game time is of paramount importance is not ideal.
A solution is needed, as it would be a real waste of talent for Kolli to stagnate at Loftus Road. But, as the saying goes, ‘hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard’, and it appears this is something Stephan really buys into.
To work his way back into the fold, Kolli must improve in this area in training and U21s outings.Comment

Kolli is expected to feature in 3 DS games from now until the end of the International break, it’s also said he’s returning to training with the first team from the begining of next week.
Stephan says a first team friendly has been organised to sharpen players towards the end of the enforced break.Comment

It’s not the first time that Kolli has played up, he got subbed off in an Academy tournament in the Hong Kong 7s for clashing with teamates because he wasn’t tracking back.
The coaching staff failed to pick him for the next match until we were 3-0 down with 10 mins to play, Kolli came on and scored 2 cracking goals but we still lost 3-2 to the eventual winners WBA.Comment

I heard he punched a wall when he wasn't picked to start a first team game. Its great to have passion and arrogance is needed to reach the top, but successive managers haven't seen fit to give him regular games. I hope he comes back snd gets a run in the first team and he puts up or shuts up.Comment

There’s no doubting his talent, as you said earlier he now needs to stop playing the prima donna role and grow up.
Seeing both Kolli and Dembele being included amongst the official squad photograph today signifies that we have at least 2 more game changers back in the squad.Comment
