That's what it looked like at the time. Still, disappointing to have it confirmed. Need Adamson to keep fit now or Dunne will have to start sliding across to RB.

It was my first reaction too. He went down, arm up for treatment I think and didnt move.

Hes a fully committed player to the point of being over enthusiastic. Hes not the type to faint injury.

As soon as it happened, I thought, ACL ....!

Aside from his stonking pens, I don't feel Madsen has been quite "at it" for past few games and I felt Varane would be nipping into the starting line-up anyway. Looks like that's what'll happen now I suppose.

Need Vale and Kamara to liven up and stay fit, Poku to just stay fit and maybe Cirkin to slot in to left-midfield or outside left. That lot with Varane and Ronnie in the mix ought to give us plenty of options in the middle of the park.

On the plus side, JCS seems to be holding up well for now - long may that continue!

Sorry - just realised I duplicated a previous poster's post.

Abs goodness me you really know how to let yourself down. I think it's pretty clear to 99.9% of our fan base that we're miles better with Madsen in our team than without him. Stop sticking round pegs in square holes as we were woeful in the middle against Birmingham and playing Ronnie out of position is a massive disservice to his talent.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It does look bleak indeed, so it`s now about time we sack the physio team. The bycycle coach also...

There is clearly a problem with the medical treatment at the club, a few injuries are expected but for a couple of seasons now we've been missing almost half of our first 11 for big chunks of the season and that is not normal.

I would tend to agree with the view that Madsen hasn’t been pulling up any trees this season, I think he’s playing well within himself other than his eye catching penalties.

If he’s not for fit for the Swansea game then I’m hoping Stéphan shows some confidence in selecting Isak Alemayeh who I thought looked bright during the pre season games

Isak looks particularly adept at picking up the ball from the keeper or defenders and becoming the main playmaker, he’s got good natural ability in being able to turn either way on the half turn to begin a quick move with one touch passing

Although slight in physique he probably needs someone like Varane alongside to add bite and shoulder some defensive duties.

Burrell a massive miss for us so hopefully he gets better soon. But yes so many injuries so early in season and now dropped another place could be a cold winter chaps

If this carries on Charles will have to come out of goal and play !! (which he does anyway)

Does anyone know if the club are investigating the injury situation. It seems widespread and continuous?
Is there any up to date data concerning all Championship clubs and injuries each is suffering? I seem to recall seeing something like that before.

I heard the investigator picked up a groin strain.
