It looks like a 4-4-2 but I suspect this will be, or at least at times be, a 4-2-3-1 with llyod and Burrell interchanging up top and Vale playing in the 10 spot or in a middle three.

That bench is crying out for Kolli too. Such a shame he isn't on it. Can play out wide or up front in a 4-2-3-1
Wish that whole situation could be sorted out as i'd love to see him playing, I considered dropping money on sponsoring his shirt this season too.

Dominated much of the half and only a wrongly disallowed goal keeps us level. We have to be more clinical.

Another Tombola decision by Stéphan to play Smyth in the 10 role, and no surprise that his impact on the game has been absolutely zero.

If a winger is to be selected to play as a 3 alongside Burrell and Lloyd at least select someone with some kind of ability on the ball.

Smyth isnt in the 10 role. Its cos lamptey has pushed so high up the pitch that smyth tucked inside. But the game is completely passing him by. Unfortunately we dont have a better option on the bench..this first 11 is the best we have available tonight.

We're not getting behind them at all and we're not attacking their box. Either Kamara or Madsen needs to get further up the pitch. Dunno where Smyth's been all half? For all our possession I can see Charlton pinching a goal so we need to get some incision about us, work the keeper and hopefully score some goals. Just wafting balls into the box is playing into their hands.

Honestly did not know Smyth was playing. Don’t like the way the game is shaping up but we could still get away with it. Probably take a goal from Dunne or Edwards for us to win.
That first half reminded me a bit of the way Spurs play at the moment.
