Let’s hope it works out well. I guess a little bit of a gamble involved due to the ACL. If his health was assured, maybe he would have been picked up by a PL club???
    Fingers crossed!

Hopefully the contract is heavily weighted on appearance bonuses. Im sure it would be because we've had enough sicknotes and CN would have had a major meltdown to give this lad £15k a week without conditions.

I can't get my head round it. I'm struggling to believe it's really a transfer... it must be some sort of "arrangement" or "agreement". Whatever, he deffo won't step on the pitch in 2026 so there's no point thinking about him at this juncture - focus on the fit players we have ready for the off in a few weeks.

Yes it seems a little surreal. Like a big gamble. Maybe Amit felt the same way?

If we're consistent at one thing, turning injury prone players into even more injury prone players.

Not convinced by this signing. Madness. Hardly played in last five tears. Do we need him?

What a signing. Yes an ACL but I doubt that's removed all his ability. Why are we all moaning about it. This player is miles ahead of anything we have in terms of proven and yes I include the classy Madison in that comment. This is a player that 4 years ago Tottenham bid 50m for and yet we still complain. These are exactly the signings we should be making.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Yes a risk for us due to injury but that is only reason we get a look in so in my view worth taking.

Couple of times I saw him play in Premiership he was by far best player on pitch. Even an injury slowed version of him would be top level in this division.

I would guess its a low value one year contract and if he can prove his fitness he'd move to a bigger premiership club on a free transfer for 27/28. Hopefully there'll be a nominal fee on it for our services.

Or we take him with us, don't forget Top 8 for playoffs, that has to be the boards targets

That would be great on both counts if he proves his fitness and we go up. Unless theres a bigger pay day for him with another club of course, because money talks over loyalty and gratitude.
