Anytime a new Coach or Manager have been appointed it’s been with the approval of the owners. Ex Norwich Manager Thorup openly stated he turned down the job before Stéphan was appointed.
It’s easy to blame Nourry for picking the wrong new Coach ,buying the wrong players , or being thought to select the first team but in reality the only criticism I have with him is not already showing the door to Williams and our medical staff.
I don’t believe the rumours that a Brazilian Coach is coming but I do believe the rumour about a new Coach is significant to suggest he needs to shape up or be shipped out early next season.

Ì`m of the same opinion fwiw...Originally posted by daveshads View PostI think the relationship between Christian and his (any) manager is key. Actually I don’t believe it matters very much who is our manager whilst Christian is there. If they are yes men, they keep their job and “project QPR” continues, at the expense of success.
If they are not yes men, don’t take the job! You will be irrelevant.
Ours is not a normal club.
They both definitely need to go in my opinion.

Give him another season as he should learn by his mistakes this season, injuries didn’t help him

Totally agree with this, but I don't think it will happen because with the new '8 teams innovation/trap' aiming to be in the top ten may mean accidentally qualifying for the play-offs!Originally posted by Abseits View PostI'm 50/50...
Ultimately, I don't believe he is capable of taking us up next season.
Well, no.... I want to have a season where we are constantly in the promotion mix, ie never below 10th. That's not a big ask in my view but I don't get the sense JS instills any belief or confidence in the team. I accept we'd have to "punch above our weight" to go up but he hasn't got us throwing any punches.
So, I wouldn't be gutted if he was still here in August but I'd prefer him not to be.

Ultimately, I don't believe he is capable of taking us up next season.
At this point I expect all the "White Knights" to come galloping in pointing out how unrealistic I am, reminding me about our piddly budget, wage bill, fanbase etc and telling me I should be grateful for finishing 15th-ish every year and JS is doing well all things considered.

I agree with much of what you say, but I don't think Whimper Man will be going anywhere anytime soon. I rate him a little better than Marti, but not by too much. Anyway, try and make the most of next week's defeat as it's the last of the season (thank God).

Stephan's Time is Up
I think his time as our coach is up.
Too many mistakes were made this season by him and his coaching staff.
I don't see things improving dramatically if he remains next season. There has been no real improvement since Stephan's arrival as head coach.
He has been backed by the owners in the transfer market. For me, he was the wrong appointment last summer. We need a strong coach with good man-management skills.
I can see the owners announcing a mutual termination of his contract very soon. In my opinion, there is no way he is an improvement on Marti.
Just my opinion.
Who would you bring in when he goes?
My choice would be one of 2 if they wanted the job.
1. David Wagner. Did an excellent job for Huddersfield.
He knows how to get teams out of the Championship.
2. Liam Rosenior.
Did a good job for both Derby and Hull.
Chelsea's job was too big for him.
Any of those 2 would get us in the top 8 next season.
Julien got some good results this season.
But for me it's time to say thank u and goodbye
