  • Stephan out

    - Tactical inept
    - So many excuses and making us smaller than we are
    - Do the players really have respect for him?
    - Injured players are back after longer time than communicated. Warning sign regarding who’s in charge.

He has'nt convinced me , poor tactician , no plan b , poor motivator, poor substitutions. Meant to improve youngsters , don't make me laugh , all ours have gone backwards.
We need someone to manage that knows this league. We need to get rid of Hoos and Nourry as well because no decent manager will come to us with those two clowns here.

      Agreed. Stephan's time is up.
However, nothing is going to change until the owners sell up.

They must not be allowed to continue driving our great club into the ground. This has gone on for far too long.

Credit the owners for building excellent training facilities. Credit them for their work in the community.

However, they cannot run a football business to save their lives. I don't know who is advising them. Very poor decision-making time and time again.

      Enough is enough.

They need to sell up ASAP.
The club will never move forward with these idiots running the business.

I think the problem here is nourry. He forced MC out. He thinks by signing a load of cheap unproven youngsters it means we will make them better and then sell them for profit. This so far has been largely unsuccessful. We don't sell when we should and end up with the tail wagging the dog.

As far as JS is concerned i think the gamble has failed. He certainly doesn't appear the have this team playing for him. His body language tells us that hes had enough. Something is off here. Why did we spend money on a lad from Coventry who couldn't even get in the Lincoln first 11.

He cant inspire anyone and trots out the same excuse after every loss. No intensity, physically, mentally tactically.........blah blah blah....its boring now. He doesn't know this league. Get Warburton back in or warnock until the end of the season.

We have a inexperienced ceo and he hasn't a clue. Too busy trying to be a smart #### looking at laptops. He wouldn’t what a good player looks like as hes never had a proper job at a football club and hey presto look at what is happening at our club.

Our owners and their lack of presence, should be ashamed of our great club and what its supporters are going through.....again.

Agree word for word with what you are saying. Nourry is the biggest problem. None of these young players have progressed, some like Morgan have actually gone backwards. £10 million player sales every summer? Be lucky to get £10 million for the entire squad

Warnock picking up on RND and saito laughing at 0-4 score line on the bench disgraceful

js as others have said has no plan b and plan a ain’t great

we’ve got a squad who can’t cross a football make telling runs on or off the ball

              physio fitness shambolic

trging To sell some of this squad to balance the books best of luck only really Madsen and Burrell this season come out of this season adding value to themselves

only problem I have with removing js is who would come in

The Championship is virtually a blank piece of paper every season due to most teams overhauling their squads and having a new manager. Our squad was relatively settled and we eased into the season okay-ish but we never really got out of 1st gear. Most teams found their feet, settled into a rhythm and went through the gears. It's been startling in recent games seeing how far off the pace we are. Unfit, slow, cautious, disjointed with no flow or rhythm.

JS has to carry the can for this. We are weak, naive and easy to beat. Worse of all, we are plain dull and awful to watch, we are literally "losing ugly" and it's not good enough.

I don't get why these managers come in and then part way through the season things go wrong and we can't seem to get it back on track.
Happened a few times no with Beale, MC, and now JS. I just don't really get it or whats going wrong. Is it the dressing room? is it the atmopsher at the club? is it leadership sticking their nose in?

End of the day I think JS and Noury have done incredible to get us where we have been this season, I didn't really see it honestly coming and would have expected us to be in the relegation zone with the injuries we've had... but something doesn't quite feel right and i'm not sure if its JS or if its just impacting JS as much as it is the players.

I thought on the run up to Christmas we were playing really well, 2 up front was refreshing and we looked like we had finally found our feet and might even break into the top 6.

Since Christmas bar the odd result (Coventry, Hull), we have been dire. As bad as I can remember. We look incompetent at times. I watched today as players in our midfield literally watched as players made numerous runs towards our box without any attempt to chase after them, then when they did get the ball couldn't pass to a teammate a couple of yards away. These are just a couple of things (if I listed all our faults I'd need a whole page).

I like the manager, he seems a genuine guy, who's had to deal with a horrendous injury crisis, and has had to use players who are clearly not good enough. But we've been far too poor for far too long. Something now needs to change.

Perhaps Leicester would give us £500k for JS

I know in my previous post I blamed Nourry mostly I also want to clarify I don’t think Stephen is blameless, yes he has been dealt a poor hand with injuries and young players clearly not yet ready for Championship.

What I worry about is if he can motivate the players, because since the Southampton game it looks like they have given up, he also has history of going on bad runs as a manager, 1 win in 17 before he got bullet at Strasbourg, bad runs in his spells at Rennes too

I actually came onto the forum today expecting to see such a dumb thread, and sure enough…

                            STEPHAN IN is my stance.

We have been poor the last gew games, but massive injury list, playing kids.

Our young players have improved. We are in a much stronger position than last seAson. Good signings, happier club, players to sell for future cash. Nourry done wall, and so has Stephan.

Be patient guys. We seen some great glimpses this season.

What kids have improved I don’t think Morgan looks any better than last season, Esquardinha still looks way out of his depth Bennie tbh we’ve seen more of him due to injuries. As for Saito he looks a shadow of himself than under Marti

I’ll admit Madsen looks miles better than he was under Marti

as for Walsh not good enough vale for me at least he’s fit and does try but no idea what he’s on but if he’s over 10k a week not worth it positive is we should get to 50 points relatively soon but those who’ve missed the season chair poku give them a fortnight off for summer and get them fit for end of June doing treadmill in the water or something to keep them fit

for me his biggest weakness is no plan b and that to me shows he’s blinkered into 1 way only
