Im not surprised Poku is out ax he got absolutely clattered towards the end of Sat's game. I was in the loft and it happened down the ER side. How it wasn't a red card amazed me at the time. Both players were down and the PNE went off shortly after. It appeared to be bone on bone collision. It was reckless & dangerous by the PNE who should have been given a straight red. Im not surprised Poku is out injured but is lucky he didn't break his leg. Can others remember the challenge, because my eyesight isn't the best?

I thought that challenge was on Mbengue.

I think the players are so agressive now (nothing done to reduce this) that injury levels are bound to increase and not just for us. One might imagine what coaches preach to defenders about stopping attackers. I am afraid that football, by this aggression and breakneck speed, becomes ever less enjoyable to watch. It's only the tribal nature of fans that keeps the dream rolling on. An awful lot if it is hard to watch. As an oldie, it hurts me to say this having seen many years of a really enjoyable sport.

Quite possible with my eyesight mate! But because it was on the wing I assumed it was on Poku.

Did you think it warrented a straight red....? I did...

Too much money in the game now to take a risk on ruining a player's career. The days of pain killing jabs and seeing ex-pro crippled have gone. Clubs would be getting sued for medical negligence these days. If anything the rules need to change to increase the squads to 30 players

I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Heard today there a big rift behind the scenes with Ben Williams. The players cant stand the bloke and have no confidence in him. One blames him for a reoccurring injury. Another player lost it with him this week. Apparently........

Oooh tell us more sheep!! Lol!! Where has this come from? As an aside the got the impression today that none of our defenders are happy with Walsh. Dunne and mbengue had a go at him a few times!!

Comes from some guys who have contacts. A player, not to be named, punched a wall in frustration this week. The whole squad are less than impressed with the performance set up under Williams. Not heard anything about Walsh, other than he negotiated in the summer to be nos 1 and the powers agreed. I assume they were happy with his progress and age.

Bit pointless having a flash shiny training ground performance centre if the staff are not up to scratch. Makes me wonder how we coped for 100yrs with a gaffer smoking a fag and a pot-bellied trainer with a bucket and magic sponge....
