If the club has spoken to other potential managers then Marti is done and dusted, As for Thorup I thought Norwich were bar Oxford the worst team to show up at our gaff and he sees himself above us

Either way something needs to be sorted in the coming weeks I can’t see Marti going for compensation any time soon yes Boris booted carrick out last couple of days but you’d imagine pretty much most clubs already set out plans for next with existing managers bar 1 club

I would be happy with Carrick , he plays attacking football and has a good win percentage.

I'm glad Marti has gone , going , boring negative manager. i would like a manager that plays positive front foot football.
However some of the managers we are being linked with sound terrible. Thorup could'nt even get Norwich near the play offs , yet we want him and some other Danish geezer called Bertelson who's win percentage in Denmark is only 33 , surely we can do better than that. We need to aim higher , a good manager can get a poor team organised and playing decent football .

That`s good, so who knows what will happen now...

Williams "overseeing" the structure and providing advice to the onsite medical team from Dubai wasn't an issue when Marti signed an extended contract on 30th Sept last year.

If there were problems, they've never been disclosed and only became apparent when Marti's representatives started talking to another club behind our backs and without the club's permission.

When talking to a potentially new employer anyone can cite problems with your current employer as a motivation to change jobs. And of course, it's got nothing to do with more money!

If we are now saying we will let any manager go that talks to another club while managing us, it's going to be really silly if we now go hire a manager that is already employed too.

I think we've put ourselves into a corner on this one and set an expectation to only hire out of work managers. Otherwise any manager we hire is basically already a snake for coming to us and will do the same to us as they did to their current club.
It was the going behind the club's back that gets people's rattled. If we want to talk to another club's manager we ask their club's permission first. That's the agreed process and WBA are just as much to blame. So much for poaching regulations!!!

I’m in the in the let him go camp, not brilliant football last season and not being in a relegation battle doesn’t register as a success. Not sure he understood Championship football and not sure he’s any the wiser now. QPR still a big club so hoping we can attract someone with a better track record. Need to spend a few quid though.

Might as well stick with Kevin Betsy. I think all the players like him.
