From about November it was clear he was not signing an extension or new contract but we kept playing him ahead of Kolli who had grown up here.

But, who cares.. once they decide to pee off, especially "sideways" I couldn't give a monkey's about them. Is only when we sell them for decent money to a manifestly bigger/better club and they are taking a clear step-up in their career that I have a mild interest in them, y'know, like Eze, Ferdinand, Sinton.
    That`s true.

    Agree about Armstrong.

Dickie decent championship player. Made 77 appearances for Bristol. Made playoffs. My view, he'd walk into our side.

Have to hold my hands up bus and admit I got this one wrong. I was a massive fan of Armstrong which we all know, as I thought he was going to be like a prime Sir Les Ferdinand. How wrong was I , wasn't fit to lace his boots, guess it shows even someone like me with my footballing background gets it wrong occasionally.[/QUOTE......... The next Charlie Austin has got to be out there somewhere weAre

Armstrong just isnt a good enough striker. I'd take him back though...... as a wing back. He needs to wake up to the fact he's playing in the wrong position.

If you could combine both players you'd have an international CB.
Would be the OG Chris Samba

I feel for the lad. Getting a sending off in a tight game at 0-0 for it to end 0-3 sheff utd and tie over is going to be a tough one to take. These playoff ties are huge but to let the side down like that I just hope he can recover from it. I was a fan of his, composed, carried the ball forward so well but he hasn't really hit the heights I was expecting. Maybe should of stayed with us and waited for a better club. I think Bristol city isn't enough of an upgrade as it's certainly hit Sinclair Armstrong too.
Working...
