I feel for the lad. Getting a sending off in a tight game at 0-0 for it to end 0-3 sheff utd and tie over is going to be a tough one to take. These playoff ties are huge but to let the side down like that I just hope he can recover from it. I was a fan of his, composed, carried the ball forward so well but he hasn't really hit the heights I was expecting. Maybe should of stayed with us and waited for a better club. I think Bristol city isn't enough of an upgrade as it's certainly hit Sinclair Armstrong too.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I agree with all your positives but he was too slow to be a top defender. He can't react quick enough to things going on around him. He's got the turning ability of a tug boat.

Armstrong just isnt a good enough striker. I'd take him back though...... as a wing back. He needs to wake up to the fact he's playing in the wrong position.

If you could combine both players you'd have an international CB.

We are well rid of Armstrong , all speed , no finesse and always looks like he wants a punch up .
        Dickie was on nothing special.

Have to hold my hands up bus and admit I got this one wrong. I was a massive fan of Armstrong which we all know, as I thought he was going to be like a prime Sir Les Ferdinand. How wrong was I , wasn't fit to lace his boots, guess it shows even someone like me with my footballing background gets it wrong occasionally.

              Agree about Armstrong.

Dickie decent championship player. Made 77 appearances for Bristol. Made playoffs. My view, he'd walk into our side.

Not saying he would got a breakthrough, but Armstrong should have stayed with us because It would at least not have ruined his career which probably is the case now.

Was hard to understand why club kept playing Armstrong when we had Kolli in the ranks too. Yes, we all loved Sincs and wanted him to succeed but bloody hell, it was obvious after about a month he had no ability to read the game and lacked "radar" or positional sense. From about November it was clear he was not signing an extension or new contract but we kept playing him ahead of Kolli who had grown up here.

But, who cares.. once they decide to pee off, especially "sideways" I couldn't give a monkey's about them. Is only when we sell them for decent money to a manifestly bigger/better club and they are taking a clear step-up in their career that I have a mild interest in them, y'know, like Eze, Ferdinand, Sinton.
