Will this be delayed until manager issues resolved or do you think some decisions were made when when we secured our safety and just not been announced yet.

Ultimately any player who signs a 3yr+ deal WILL see at least two managers during their stay so it'd be a bit dumb to join any club solely based on who the gaffer is.

What d'yall think about the club's approach to dribbling out news about the ins/outs each day on a player-by-player basis? It feels like an advent calendar where you get a crummy bit of chocolate every day...
I'm keen to know the real status on several players, particularly given the club are very coy about publishing the contract status of players, Cook having a trigger clause was quite an eye-opener for instance.
Given many other clubs have already published comprehensive lists of released players I'd personally prefer it if club did likewise rather than teasing us for the next 2/3 weeks

With regards to players, there are so many ‘holes’ in the way the club are doing things - for example
1. Why haven’t we thanked the loan players and confirmed that they are going back to their parent clubs?
2. Is there or is there not an option to buy on Saito?
3. Has Colback got an option to extend?
4. Jimmy Dunne - what’s going on with him?
5. Kelman - lots of rumours that he’s going to sign for Orient permanently. Surely we should be giving him a chance?
6. West London Sport reporting that Frey and Smyth are next to sign new contracts?
I could go on and on but it feels so disjointed
Thoughts?

Season only just over so we will be drip fed as and when any new contracts are signed.
90% Jimmy will be gone so would expect our announcement to coincide with news on where he is headed.
Colback I think has a one year option but in our favour. Has done well and we need some experience albeit has had some time out injured.
On Kelman I thought he signed a one year extension in January so has until end of December.

Also, the EFL transfer window doesn't open until 14th June and perhaps we're keeping matters open so a new manager can have an input?
Dunne was different because we now know it was a auto extension and Cook was happy with the situation.
Its a bit soon after the end of last season to be getting impatient for news. I suspect there are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes and we don't want to shoot our bolt too quickly!!

Taking Dunne as example. We'll pay him till 30th June. Give him additional 4 weeks pay on 30th June. Signs 1st July for new club. 8 weeks money for 4 weeks work.
So many sign officially on 1st July. Agreed weeks if not months before.
