Just seen a FB training video on Qpr Reels. Looks sharp in training and doesn't look far off the pace.Originally posted by Sleeping Giants View PostIs there any recent news on Chair other than that he's resumed training?
Don't know how to post the video here - One fir LoftusRoadLad.......!!Last edited by SheepRanger; 25-09-2024, 09:24 PM.

QPR share cryptic social media post
Cifuentes has been coy with any updates over the player's return but in a post on social media platform X, the official QPR account shared a video of Chair back in training with the first team squad along with the caption, "Look who's back in training".
The return of Chair would be a big boost for QPR, even with the additions of wingers Kader Dembélé and Koko Saito.

I thought it happened in Spain. They came back on 12 July. I may be mistaken about it happening over there though. But that would put 10 weeks at last week.Originally posted by SheepRanger View Post
Google suggests it's a 10 week injury, so from early Aug, that bring him up to mid-Oct.
Im hoping he'll be on the bench ready for 20 mins on the 19th Oct at home to Portsmouth.
Fingers crossed.

He may be ready for the bench this Sat or Tuesday then? He certainly doesn't seem to be holding back in that video.

Yeah I’m pretty certain it was in one of the friendly gamesOriginally posted by SheepRanger View Post

I still don’t think the club will risk him yet when international breaks 3 weeks away which gives him additional 5 weeks to get 100%

My initial thought was Portsmouth on the 19th. Also Siato is putting a decent shift in so there's no need to rush. Let's see what the subs bench looks like in the next two games.Originally posted by shaggy24 View Post

I still don't think he is/was injured, his total invisibilty never made sense to me - normally injured players pop up in their civvies in the stands at some games or pass time doing outreach charity work for the community trust. Felt like Chair had been abducted by aliens though. He'll be back in due course and surprisingly sprightly too I wager.

Do you think he was doing his community service in Belgium then? Potentially to clear this off in advance of a Jan transfer?Originally posted by Abseits View PostI still don't think he is/was injured, his total invisibilty never made sense to me - normally injured players pop up in their civvies in the stands at some games or pass time doing outreach charity work for the community trust. No idea what's gone on. The handling of comms has been weird and there has been a strange vacuum in terms of credible info that inevitably leads to folks filling in the blanks. Obviously the backdrop of his conviction adds a layer of intrigue to matters.Originally posted by SheepRanger View Post

At end of last season I'd envisaged Chair being a key part of an impressive start to this season for us and his value soaring in time for January. It's all gone up pooh creek on all fronts thus far though!
