  • Steve Gallen

    Left Charlton today. Coincidence????

Be a good move to have him back as dof. A qpr man and seems like he did a good job at CA for the last 6 years.

So we employ a specialist football recruitment firm to search across the globe for out DoF and its Steve Gallen. That'll be £100,000 please!

And brought in for Money which could have been used to find gems in lower leagues. However, on a more serious note: Good luck to him!

His track record at Charlton is pretty decent, a very good academy set up there as well, currently in the top 20 in the country, which bodes well if it is him.

I would think he would want to bring about some major changes within the academy and within the recruitment side of the club, so Paul Hall, Andy Belk, Gary Karsa etc all will go I would think, perhaps he will bring a fair few over from Charlton's Academy setup.

Seems the Charlton fans think he did a good job early on but then nothing much after that.

If it is Gallen we're going to appoint then I agree with Sheep that it's a bit of a farce using that company to search candidates etc.

I also agree with KA that we don't really need a DOF.

We seem to have loads more staff than other comparible teams so why not 1 more?

I want Beckham, Ryan Ryenolds, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Will Ferrell and bill Bailey to be our board of directors and rotate the DOF role on a monthly basis
