Beale confirms QPR youngster Armstrong will get chance to impress

Michael Beale has all but confirmed that Sinclair Armstrong will feature for QPR in the early stages of the season.

West London Sport revealed on Thursday that the striker will travel with the squad to Blackburn for Saturday’s opening match of the campaign.

Be good to see him have a blinding start to the season and he scores a few but hope it does'nt all go wrong and it ruins him.
To be honest , he can't be any worse than Dykes or Bonne but i'm sure we've got a decent loan striker lined up , Archer from Villa please .

Just been listening to Les Ferdinand's interview on the W12 Podcast. Interestingly he mentioned that his phone has buzzed more times this summer, in regards to inquiries, for Sinclair Armstrong more than any other player! He did state that it is likely helped by the fact that Willock has been injured though

Extend his contract. Don’t wait, do it now.

That's what we should be worried about. New 5 year deal as I have a feeling next season vultures will be circling.

Didn't Armstrong sign 2 year + 1 year club option. We're in good position.

Well it's okay but it's not a 5 year deal is it? This season will be over then he essentially has 1 + 1 year left.. To maximize our position and hand, I'd give the lad a contract to June 2027 tomorrow.

I find the whole Sinclair Armstrong 'loving' mad. Handful of matches, hardly watched by anyone, on what basis is the lad 'the next Gallen / Austin / Furlong' for us?

He isn't quite ready or quite good enough from what i've seen and we need more than just the odd goal, we need link up play, assists and hardwork from a 9

He's being held back because he's so good, once he gets a start he'll be scoring so freely Man City won't be able to resist dropping Haaland and coming in for him. Beale knows it and his keeping him on the sidelines till the window closes.

The contract end 2024 with a 1 year option. So next summer we start being worried if he will sign an extention or just run the remaining two years down.
