If he goes and I suspect he will, the new man has to come in and play the same style of passing football, only quicker going forward.
Be stupid hiring a big Sam type, after the football we've seen.
Warbs has had playing beautiful stuff particularly end of last season.
But this year at the start we struggled if you remember and won games possibly we shouldn't have.

Difficult one, has been good to have some stability and we have improved over his tenure. On downside last couple of months have been dire and team has not improved overall since last season. In fact a number of players we had hoped would progress further this season have either stayed static or gone backwards.
I really don't want all the upheaval of a change in manager and am not convinced we can realistically attract anyone much better. On the other hand the lack of willingness to make changes has left us predictable and uncomfortably easy to play against.
As for Steve Mac very nice guy but has failed in most jobs. Impression is effective as part of the coaching team but not as manager. I'd hoped he would do well but did not expect him to.

Of course they will, QPRDave. It`s not Warburton who has decided that every player in a QPR shirt is trained and drilled in a modern way; It`s the Board guided by Sir Les and Chris Ramsey. Personally I trust and respect them both very much for their knowledge of the game.Originally posted by QPRDave View PostIf he goes and I suspect he will, the new man has to come in and play the same style of passing football, only quicker going forward.

That process would have been going on from the day after he arrived here. I believe managers last about 13 months on average so boards will always be scanning the horizon. Warbs was teetering on the edge about 15 months ago so board/owners would definitely have had some names in mind then - maybe some are still on their radar today? Whatever, the board will 100% have sucession planning in place right now. I'd guess there'll be several alternatives in the plans (including sticking with Warburton).Originally posted by ConorQPR2000 View Post
If Warburton isnt staying on beyond the summer, then I would in that case be already making plans to replace him.

There is the problem though , he should have changed the system weeks ago , he is a very stubborn man and does'nt want to see what is blindingly obvious.Originally posted by 72bus View PostThink if he has anything about him he will change his system in the remaining games. 3 tough away games coming up .

Sir Les is the Director of Football and it's his job to make sure the club has players to sell for big money into the premier league I'd we cant get there ourselves. Most clubs play with wing backs these days so that system is pretty much set upon us if we need players to make that step up.

I don't agree that most teams play with wing backs , hardly any in each division , most play 442 or 433.
Off the top of my head Chelsea and Spurs in the Prem and Boro / Forest/ Sheff utd and West brom in the Championship are the ones i can think of that play with wing backs.
