Young Smyth will be well up for this, looking to prove Warbs wrong.
Only just remembered he'd gone there

QPR’s Championship match at home to Barnsley and Carabao Cup tie at Leyton Orient will also be on Sky. The Barnsley game on Saturday, 21 August will now kick off at 12.30pm. Rangers face Orient on Wednesday, 11 August (7.45pm kick-off).

It will be the first meeting between the two sides in 14 years, when goals from Adam Boyd and Jason Demitirou sealed a win for The O’s at Loftus Road in the same competition.

Ticketing details for the game will be announced in due course, in what will be the first home game for Kenny Jackett’s Orient side.

Both Kenny Jackett and Assistant Manager Joe Gallen worked for The R’s at the start of their management careers, whilst recent signing Paul Smyth joins Orient from W12.

I forgot all about that game. We must have been crap to lose at home to them in 2007.
I would like to think that we will try and put out a strong team to win this game and make progress in the competition, although I suspect we will lose this one as well, as we rarely ever seem bothered about this competition (the only one we have ever won) and always seem to put out a weakened side to concentrate on what often turns out to be a very mediocre season. Admittedly Warburton did put out a decent side (apart from Oteh) as a lone striker last season for the game at Plymouth.
