    I saw that as well.
that's a bit of a worry, but I think that the defence is getting better.

Pace isn’t a necessity as a cb , Alan McDonald Darren Peacock etc. Were never quick but just read the game well and that’s how Dickie seems to play .

Dickie is 6'4" so I wouldnt expect him to be quick. He's no Paul Parker for sure........but we're keeping clean sheets.

It didn't work though did it.
I remember this forum literally going into meltdown, before the game v Chelsea on our return to the premiership.
          The reason?
Warnock was going with Clint Hill at fb against Daniel sturridge, and apparently sturridge would have the easiest game ever, because Clint had no pace.
Sturridge got past him once inside the first 10 mins and that was it.
          Pace isn't everything.
          As was proved yesterday.

Yeah read what that Mobrow tw@t said. He got it wrong didn't he. If you have pace you gotta have a brain too.

Stronger with 5 at the back, the shape is far better. We dont score many, so we needed to be tighter.

If we had goals in the team it wouldnt be a huge issue...
