    Thoughts and ratings

Pissed off, excellent first half, fell away performance wise second half, overall difference was Toney, quality forward at this level. Thought on another day a point would have been a fair result, our defending at set pieces is poor.
We end up with 10 men, they should have been with 10 all the second half.
Just need a bit of luck at times but Brentford seem to have the voodoo sign on us.

Dieng 6 Slightly below par from him distribution wise, no chance with goals
Kane 6 playing ok, sending of a tad harsh
Nico H 4. Fairly poor game
    Barbet 6 solid
Dickie 5. Not sure fully fit, by his standards not so good
Ball 5 nothing special, works hard
Chair 7 good first half, fell away second half, corners are shocking
Willock 5 He is a promising player but needs time
Dykes 7 Took goal well, missed a good chance, hold up play better
Carrol 6 look lively at times
BOS 8 looked our main threat
    Subs
    Adomah 5
    Bonne. 5
    Thomas 5
Contribute little in a short time

Brentford manager changes formation at H/T which is a credit to Rangers, Toney is an excellent player and Nico H should not be marking him a corners.
Overall some positives in a enjoyable game.
one day we will beat those bar stewards

Ref cost us the game imo, No way should Niko be marking Toney he's a handful. I think Warbs has sod all on the bench tbh knob head Jansen marked Dykes really well. in reality they got larger budget to play with if we can find a couple of loans that add quality and not numbers it would help.

Let's not kid ourselves, Brentford will be around the play off places for the rest of the season. We did okay (more so in the 1st half), no point in continuingly blaming refs (they had a perfectly good goal ruled out). Warburton said "we take each game as it comes", so we move onto the next one, and hopefully we'll get something out of that

VAR would have ruled that goal out too rightly or wrongly, if rules change then yes onside but as current rules was an arm offside ! As for the Sorensen decision if that was Dickie or Barbet we all know they would have walked, it was a shocking decision, however we played.

No part of Toney was in front of our defender, so var WOULD have given a goal?

Toney should have been booked for a retaliation hack at Barbet and I think again on Dykes and then at the end Body checking Dickie, that with what was an obvious sending off and a 100% penalty for handball, made for a dreadful display from the ref.

Apart from the ref i enjoyed the game, could have gone either way i was fearful that without Eze we would be dreadful to watch, that has not been the case.

Not going up, not going down as long as we are mathematically in with a chance of playoffs with 5 games to go I’ll watch every week.

The decision to give a 4 year deal to niko was ridiculous in the first place. From watching him in the last few games he looks to have the ability but lacks desire and the motivation to dominate his opponent. He needs to watch a few clips of Rufus Brevett. Take no #### and let the guy know he is in for a battle. Most modern day wingers dont like getting a dig and moan at the first sign on contact. So he doesn't have to be Mark Dennis #2 but at least show some bottle!!!

Where does it say that in the quote? Before jumping in and looking like a pr***, maybe read through it before replying with that nonsense. You have a major problem with some people on here so I wont enter into a discussion with you.

I said he has the ability but lacks the desire/determination at the moment. A 4 year deal for a lad who had never played in this league and wasnt even first choice before he was offered the deal. So far, he has loads of ability but looks far too laid back and casual at times. Look at the goal from last night and the non penalty he committed against rotherham on Tuesday night.

Like all our young players Nico is learning on the job , mistakes will be made Masterson has made plenty . The ridiculous 4 year contract he got will hopefully give him time to turn into the player you think he should be .

Dykes should have fell to the ground when kneed in the back by Jansson. Experienced players takes advantage of that.

Ref would still have done nothing , just like the sending off .

Don’t think Niko did much wrong got a tame booking when you look at Toney retaliation Pontus kneeing Dykes etc he should never been marking Toney from a set piece simple as that Toney is strong as sheringham but more pace Barbet should of organised better
