I know that Warburton and Hoos said that they won't be investing much of the money (if any) into the squad , but surely they must if they are to avoid a long relegation battle in 20/21.

2 or 3 new signings (unless of good quality) just won't be enough.

Warburton wants BOS and Manning to commit themselves to the club for another 2/3 seasons, but why would they do that if the squad is not improved? They don't want to fight for survival, they want to challenge for promotion.

The club needs to show some real ambition in order to keep those two (and any other good youngsters) for longer periods than they currently have.

Before Covid they told us that there would be money to spend this season as the FFP cycle had improved.

The money from selling Eze should more than cover the losses of Covid so there must be funds to improve the squad. Fans will also be allowed back into stadiums by 2021 if not sooner.

      He's not our player.
Not as good as Adel though - what do you think?

Really? Brentford are paying £10m to Peterborough for Ivan Toney. Well done to their people for getting that much for a League 1 player.

Best of luck to him. Been a good player for us and plenty of room to improve further. Realistically needs to now be playing with better players to progress.

Would be nice to tie BOS and Manning in for another season. I doubt they would commit more than that. Personally think they need another full season at this level before being ready to make step up. Might benefit both sides agreeing one year extensions. However no doubt they would prefer a move so think unlikely.

Some posters always find a negative in whatever the club do I’m afraid.

Adel was a better player, and did more.
But then he was a genius for us under sir Neil.
                  Now enough

Listening to First Eze Palace interview he gives praise to Hall , Impey and Ramsey for his development. Nice touch and proves the club is a good place for up and coming youngsters looking to kick on .

Credit must go to Warburton, Eustace, Ramsey and the unheralded Impey. Between them they have managed to net us approx £20m on a player who was virtually unknown a couple of years ago.

I wish him and BFG all the best, they will be missed.

I'm really happy with the fee, don't think he's worth that but a great deal for once.

To certain extent, he did introduce him, then loaned him out to Wycombe (Gareth Ainsworth deserves a mention) then recalled him and played him in various positions with varying results.
