We have lost Hall, Hugil, Wells, Pugh and Rangel plus we are about to lose Eze.

We shipped a ridiculous amount of goals loads year and so far we brought Dykes who is untested at this level and Wallace who has also never played in this league.

Chair is a good little player but he’s no Eze and needs direct competition as if he gets injured who played there?

Kane was not assured at rb last year so that’s an area that needs looking at and we need to replace Hall with at least one Cb.

Midfield needs additions on the wings if BOS goes as Mido has hardly pulled up any trees and as mentioned above Thomas was free signing and untested.

Also where are our creative l forward passing players int the team and what depth do we have for injuries?

Then up top we own just one striker and will need at least another one to compete!

If we bring in only 1 or 2 players we will be relegated as our squad as it stands now is not good enough and doesn’t have the adequate depth.

We need 5/6 players minimum but realistically 7/8 and that doesn’t count of manning and BOS and leinster all go!

I don’t see or understand how anyone can’t see how thin our squad is as it stands.

I personally have faith in Warburton and think he will now move to bring on 4/5/6 players

Percentage on the whole sale price or the value over the price they paid. Surely it's on increase in value, so a £50m sale would be an increase of £30m with 20% being another £6m to us? I cant see why Palace would pay another 20% on a figure they've already paid to us.

Yeah thats correct. Anything over the 20m 20% comes to us

That’s what I have said at the bottom of my response that I have faith the board are going to back Warbs and bring in 4/5/6 players

That's 8 new players. Virtually a whole new team leaving no room for any of the youngster. Warburton has sais 2 or 3.

To compete in this League we need a squad, not a team. We do need 8 decent new players. If that's unrealistic or not do'able 5 new faces is the absolute minimum. Anything less would see us stagnating or going backwards. There's time but we need to get cracking. Youngsters can just make up the 25-man squad and receive a gentle phased introduction into the match-day squad. We can't just chuck them into the 46-game fray, they'll buckle and damage their development.

I just can't understand how anyone on here and within the club can even think that we will be able to be competitive next season without bringing in another 6-8 players - and some of these need to have some proven ability at this, or similar level .

Let's just hope that MW and the DoF have got players lined up.

Emile Smith-Rowe (Arsenal) is likely to be available for loan again - he went to Huddersfield in January. Ejaria could be signed too regardless of whether his move to Reading breaks down. QPR could make an offer to buy him from Liverpool now that they have agreed a fee to sell Eze.

But they are only paying £14-15m , the rest is on add ons which might not be achieved before they sell him within the next 2 seasons , provided he shines in the EPL with Palace.

Is it £20 million up front or £20 cash but in instalments? From what I've read it would be the latter.
