      I think he wanted to be , but with these Harsh punishments that we are under that wasn’t an option.
      As I’ve said in other threads I can’t understand why our Lawyers are not banging on some doors and getting something done retrospectively.

              Me neither, we have been singled out for special punishment.
              If a country abolished the death penalty, would they continue to execute the prisoners on death row?
              Our punishment should've been under the new rules, simple as that.

                    I agree. the club could have appealed on the basis you described.

                    Some of us on here thought along those lines at the time that the club woud be dealt with under the new rules even though the 'crime' was under the old ones. But I agree that the club's lawyers thought it was a result so didn't appeal.
