Given our budget we are over achieving but comparing us to Brentford’s spend isn’t fair. They sold twice what they spent so Jansen for £5m doesn’t mean anything. They’ve just been doing what we’ve recently started for longer. The positive is we can be like them possibly from next season when we sell players for bigger ££ as we will become less desperate as time goes on.

agree - Promotion shouldn't be the goal this season or next even - improvement - entertainment and developing our youth all seem to be on course...and we are far more entertaining to watch this season.Originally posted by Rich View PostGiven our budget we are over achieving but comparing us to Brentford’s spend isn’t fair. Look at Norwich - they went up against expectations and ahead of any schedule and are now being hammered by everyone!

Norwich haven’t spent a penny , they are resigned to relegation , their chairman has said as much already. They are using this seasons premier league money to clear the clubs debts and put them in a better position in the coming years .Originally posted by 3London View Post
true - but i am sure Norwich fans would trade that win for points against Watford , Southampton and Brighton!
